PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

2006- April 2010 Dennis K. Burke, Inc. Chelsea, MA Director of Sales Northeast

  • Dennis K. Burke a major fuel supplier in New England needed to develop their wholesale fuels division. My task / goal was to open 60 new retail oil dealer accounts and grow a 54 million gallons division into 65 million in year one (20%). I was able to open over 350 new accounts and do over 162 million gallons (300%+) in sales in our first fiscal year with me heading the division. I hired a well trained and new to the industry sales force to grow further the company in the future. I also implemented many changes thought the company to improve efficiency and enhance growth potential.
  • World / Industry changes slowed growth and changes were made to reduce our accounts. They no longer needed me to grow the account base and my opportunity diminished. I look for a company that will utilize my sales and marketing skills to bring them to new levels. I look for a true opportunity to be part of growing company that will continue to utilize my skills in all areas of sales and management.

1999-2005 Giant Star Corporation San Francisco, CA National Sales Manager

I also help move the company into a complete new product category in 2003 with the introduction of our new home goods glassware line CG Glassware.
  • My reasons for seeking a new position are simple. I desire to be based on the east coast while I do not mind travel my family and home are here.

1992-1998 Russ Berrie & Company Oakland , NJ Regional Sales Manager

  • I left on my own desire to seek a national position.
